Forced crankcase ventilation system inspection (1) Remove the ventilation hose from the forced crankcase ventilation valve. (2) Remove the crankcase vent valve from the rocker arm cover. (3) Reconnect the crankcase vent valve with the removed ventilation hose. (4) Start the engine and idle it.
Check the crankcase forced ventilation system, first unscrew the oil cap on the engine, and observe that there is no large amount of gas escaping out at idle. Then tighten the oil cap, unplug the ventilation valve hose, feel it, there is no suction, there is suction, it means that the forced ventilation valve is good.
Check the condition of the pipeline (1) Remove the outlet hose and return hose of the crankcase ventilation device, and remove the relevant parts (respirator, check valve or oil-air separator). (2) Check whether the pipeline is flattened, damaged, leaked, etc., then cleaned and blown with compressed air. (3) Assemble them in the reverse order from disassembly.
Inspection method of PCV valve of crankcase forced ventilation system To idle the engine, remove the PCV valve from the cylinder head hose and check whether the PCV valve is blocked. If you put your hand on the PCV valve interface, you can feel the powerful vacuum suction in your fingers.
